Designed Lifestyles is a lifestyle consulting frim that provides aging in place design, grief support and physical wellness guidance for those 55+. COVID has required that we pivot, as so many companies have, to provide more grief support to everyone who has experience loss. The loss people of all ages have experienced includes the loss of a sense of security, freedom, health, personal connections and the death of people in their lives. The loss many have experienced needs to be discussed. People who never felt insecure or uncertain now find themselves living with a level of anxiety that they have never experienced. We are companions to those who are grieving, whether it is the loss of a job, a home or a family member. You don't get over grief no matter what the loss, it is a part of your life going forward. We can help by hearing your story and walking with you on your grief journey. The Ministry of Health has moved quickly as a result of COVID to acknowledge the importance of virtual healthcare as well as the need for more at home healthcare services. We continue to advise our clients on age appropriate adaptation for their homes so that they can remain in their homes as long as possible. A number of aging in place modifications now qualifty for the Federal Government tax credit and we can help you design a more age appropriate home.
