Designsoup by alix is the art side of my writer-illustrator brand Alix M Campbell. I'm an artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer. My first surface design collection is called 'Wildflowers of the Algarve' and was inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the national park in Portugal I live in. I love going on morning runs through the green hills and the sand dunes bordering the mighty Atlantic, admiring the colourful dots of all the delicate spring flowers waking up. My design style is playful, whimsical, and quirky. Next to designing patterns, I love to paint. Especially with acrylics, gouache, and ink.
