Destination Imagination (DI) is a global nonprofit that prepares students to thrive in a rapidly changing world by putting their creativity, curiosity, and ideas at the center of the learning experience. Grounded in a hands-on, project-based approach, DI uses a flexible creative process to guide students as they learn to solve open-ended challenges as a team. Along the way, they build key skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and resilience—all while developing solutions they care about and fully own. Through our signature Challenge Experience and a range of other programs, students take the lead—generating ideas, making decisions, and learning from both success and failure. It’s student-driven learning with purpose, supported by volunteers, educators, and a global community committed to innovation in education.
