About Detach Relax

Our goal here is simple. We believe there is a positive way to have a win/win/win relationship with our business model. We believe the property owner, the property visitor and my team can all win and help each other. I believe the Short Term Rental (STR) model is great since it basically takes us back to the beginning when people first started traveling and would stay in other people’s homes. I believe it was a way for people in those times to be taken in and treated like they were family by strangers. The traveler was considerate of the host’s property. The Host families probably enjoyed the tales from the travelers since the average folks did not travel much. I can see it as being a great form of entertainment. I belive this is where we come in to join these two back again. Hosts providing a comfortable home to stay in. The guest staying and taking care of the property. Both doing their part to make the transactions as smooth as possible in hopes of being able to either have repeat stays or have a good word put in for them for furture stays and guests. My background is in Building, Remodeling and Design. Management skills in those fileds as well as Active Army, Guard and Reserves have prepared me for the coordination required for this company. My wife’s background in accounting and interior decorating brings a welcomed balance.
