In 2011 Kelly launched the first ever Blogger Network in Chicago to an overwhelming warm homecoming by the arts entertainment, media and corporate world alike, Five years later CBN has over 1000 members/bloggers and have worked across with country with sponsors such as (Motorola, Dodge, Acura, W Hotels, Diageo, Microsoft, Super Bowl XL etc. ). I returned to Detroit to replicate this success by providing a creative, experiential platform for emerging artists to thrive. DBN will create an inclusive community of writers whose talent without such platform may go unfostered, unnoticed or worse completely given up on. Goals include networking and educational opportunities, creation of a platform to raise the visibility of Detroit’s burgeoning writing talent (and their undoubtable local subject matter) not only locally but on a national and international stage, and finally to construct and develop creative, valuable, profitable programming for local business, organizations,corporate sponsors and strategic media partnerships.
