About Deutsch-Türkisches Forum Stuttgart

Das Deutsch-Türkische Forum Stuttgart e.V. (DTF) wurde 1999 von deutschen und türkischen Bürgerinnen und Bürgern unter dem Vorsitz von Oberbürgermeister a.D. Professor Dr. h.c. Manfred Rommel mit Unterstützung der Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH gegründet. Ziel dieser deutsch-türkischen Bürgerinitiative ist die Förderung der kulturellen Begegnung und Zusammenarbeit zwischen Deutschen und in Deutschland lebenden Türken. Mit Bildungsinitiativen und Kulturprogrammen leistet das DTF eigenständige Beiträge zur gesellschaftlichen Integration türkischer Zuwanderer. Es tritt insbesondere für mehr Chancengleichheit der zweiten Generation in Bildung, Beruf und Gesellschaft ein. Dabei setzt es auf vor allem auf vielseitiges bürgerschaftliches Engagement. Das DTF ist partei- und religiös unabhängig.
