About Development Dynamics

Development Dynamics (DD) is a certified B Corp firm, a trusted pan-African think-tank, do-tank and through-tank, unlocking the next generation of insights, innovation and investment for lasting impact. For the last 6 years, we have worked with philanthropy, public and private sector clients and partners across 17 countries to advance sustainable and equitable development outcomes in sexual and reproductive health rights, public health, climate and environmental justice, peace and governance, and intersectional feminism. As a premier Think Tank (insights hub), we fill knowledge gaps by conducting research and analyses for governments, NGOs, communities, and the private sector. We also facilitate knowledge sharing through dialogue and regular ecosystem convenings. As a trusted Do-Tank (consulting and advisory practice), we walk the talk through bespoke strategy design, measurement, and community-building services that amplify movements and capacitate leaders and practitioners to accelerate their impact. As a Through-Tank (investment catalyst), we work with funders and grantees to maximise the impact of every coin by decolonising philanthropy, advocating for localisation, and streamlining access.
