About Developmental Disabilities Resource Board of St. Charles County
Since 1977, the Developmental Disabilities Resource Board of St. Charles County (DDRB) has been a leading resource for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families in St. Charles County. The DDRB provides funding in support of services to strengthen community members’ lives and improve the region's vitality. A community resource and ally, the DDRB has led the creation of a comprehensive support network for St. Charles County, connecting people with I/DD and their families with valuable resources and giving a voice to their unique needs and abilities. The DDRB is a public taxing entity, commonly known as a “Senate Bill 40 Board,” that enters into funding contracts with agencies that serve individuals with I/DD in St. Charles County.
