About Devious Design

As the Principal/Creative Director of the award-winning studio, Devious Design, Kenneth W. Davis has been in the design and art direction business for 25 years. Originally from Baton Rouge, Kenneth received a BS from LSU: Studying Advertising and Photography before moving to NYC. There, he received a degree in Graphic Design at Parsons School of Design. In 1992, While living in NYC, Devious Design was born. The studio was founded on the dictionary definition of deviousness: a departure from the straight or regular course. Devious began operation as a fun little studio, which offered personal attention, and modest prices to our clients. Those same principles remain today. Over the years clients have included: ESPN, Atlantic Records, Greenpeace, DKNY, Time Warner City Cable of New York, Eastman Kodak, and several New York restaurants. During his time in the city, he also served a year and a half as Senior Graphic Artist for "The Late Show With David Letterman". In 2006, Kenneth took a hiatus from art after surrendering to his addictions. He began a new journey in Center City, MN, studying Addiction Counseling at Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies. After receiving his MA, Kenneth's fascination with Social Interest lead him to further study the theories of Alfred Adler at Adler Graduate School in Minneapolis, MN. "Studying and participating in Art Therapy has made me a better artist, and has allowed me to return to marketing and design". Re-developing Devious Design is a dream come true. I hope to be able to focus on special projects, while at the same time helping others. I also continue to work of writing a book on my drug and alcohol addiction, and how Art Therapy helped save my life" Kenneth lives with his wife in rural NW Arkansas with his wife & 2 dogs: Great Dane, Sketch, and French Bulldog, Rocket. Kenneth's other interests include painting, southern cooking, fishing, photography, travel, scuba diving, history, writing, and travel.
