Dewdrop Tea was created as a way for the general public to experience flavor, aroma, and culture of green tea. For many Americans, their experience of green tea has been limited to the occasional trip to a fine Asian restaurant, or unfortunately, a taste of one of many low quality green tea products that line supermarket shelves today. Our mission is to evaluate various sources of tea and apply a formal assessment process to eliminate inferior tea and make available to you a quality tea--full of flavor and the health benefits as reported by the scientific community and established media. Purchasing from Dewdrop Tea will allow you to experience and enjoy the best quality tea, as your purchase is from a certified member of the Specialty Tea Institute/Tea Association of the USA, which supports training and education of tea retailers throughout the United States. Beyond the expected quality, our purveyors have assured us that the sources of our tea adhere to Fair Trade rules and do not involve child labor. In closing, Dewdrop Tea was started by a former US Marine who was stationed at Camp Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan; where he was able to observe and experience the Japanese ocha (tea) at its finest source. Dewdrop Tea continues this journey with the establishment of this site, which allows you to experience premium tea delivered right to your door.
