About Dewhurst
Dewhurst is an independent supplier of quality components to the lift, keypad and rail industries. The company was founded in 1919 and the Dewhurst Group now has sales of around US $50 million and employs over 300 people in locations around the world At Dewhurst UK, we are best known for our Award winning range of lift pushbuttons and indicators, which we tailor to meet the specific code requirements of markets around the world. We sell widely throughout the UK, Europe and Asia to many lift companies, who use our pushbuttons in both new installations and modernisations. Throughout its time, Dewhurst has been a key innovator with its pushbutton products, being the first to design a button with braille and the first to supply illuminated legend lift buttons. Our breakthrough design in 1971 with the US81 Original Pushbutton, of styling the pushbutton with a chrome surround and stainless steel pressel is imitated the world over. Through our products, we like to enhance the lift passenger experience in both new and existing installations. Our product solutions for the lift car and for the landing are designed to create a quality, timeless feel whilst being robust and affordable. Our manufacturing plant, located on the outskirts of London, is full of the latest machine tools and as a company we invest heavily each year on new production equipment. Our Research and Development facilities boast the latest Computer Aided Design and Test equipment.
