About DHA Arquitectura

DH Arquitectura began its professional practice in Barcelona in 2006, at that time with the name HB Arquitectes, and under the direction of Xavier Blesa Aguilera and Daniel Huertos Márquez. Since its inception, our work has been characterized by an exhaustive study of the environment and context in all its aspects, incorporating areas such as sustainability, technology, economy, etc... which, linked to the functional program and customer needs, are synthesized in the final result of the project. Each work, regardless of its scale and magnitude, is conceived as a challenge and an opportunity to respond to a society in continuous transformation, based on a permanent optimism that, even in the most unfavourable circumstances, allows us to improve constantly. DH Arquitectura has carried out numerous projects in several fields (residential, commercial, retail, offices, etc…) and, especially, sports architecture in practically all its facets and scales (urban gyms, sports centers, indoor swimming pools, sports fields, etc ...). Currently the office is directed by Daniel Huertos Márquez, and has a group of internal and external collaborators in different fields (structure, engineering, landscaping, interior design, sustainability, acoustics, etc ...) that allow us to make a proper analysis, and give a better response, to all those aspects that must be incorporated into the project process.
