Diamond Vault NV is active in rough diamonds that range from 8 points down and 1 carat and up, with a quality benchmark set at VS 2 and higher. We focus on quick movement of goods along the value chain, to ensure risk reduction and a stable inventory turnover. Diamond Vault's procurement from the local Antwerp market amounts for up to 60% of the total supply and is more oriented to the ‘1 carat up’ goods, with payment terms varying between cash and 60 days. Around 20% of the stones are imported from India. These smaller goods, mostly 8 points down, are paid in the short term of approximately 30 days. The stringent procurement procedure allows for consistent quality and varied supply of products. Our sourcing strength bolsters the constant development of expertise in terms of origin, quality standards, sorting and pricing.
