At Didriksons we have one simple philosophy: We don’t challenge the elements. We adopt to them. That is the same idea used by Julius and Hanna Didrikson when they started making workwear for the fishermen in Grundsund, on the rim of Sweden’s western coastline, back in 1913. Functional garments that kept the wearer dry and happy whatever the weather. For more than one-hundred years we have stayed true to our concept, and probably that is why we still are the leading brand of rain- and weatherproof garments in Scandinavia. Our garments are made for everyone, for you and me. For everyday people, aged 1 to 100 years old. Didriksons once started out as a family company, and we still act like one. We love the family. Our concept is to create functional clothes, with a timeless design, to be worn every day, no matter what the weather. Today the world is different than it was when we started. That means we have to take better care of it. We constantly develop our environmental work, and strive to reduce our footprints in this world. We minimize chemicals, we ban all toxic substances, and we try to reduce our use of water, energy and transportation as much as we can. This is an ongoing work, and we’ll probably never finish. So if you decide for a Didriksons garment, remember that we put all our expertise, every single year of product development and knowledge, into every single item that we put our brand on. Because we want you to stay dry, happy – and active.
