About Digidelta Software

Digidelta Software is a company that produces custom-made software, with over 29 years of experience in the agro-livestock field, in Portugal and abroad. Digidelta was established back in 1992, focused mainly in the development and implementation of a project named PISA (Animal Health Information Program). In 2003, the restructuring of the company resulted in the formation of Digidelta Software - Analysis and Programming, Ltd, funded by Mr. Carlos Neves with a share capital of 100.000€, in replacement of the previous Digidelta Leiria. It is located in the central region of Portugal, specifically in the city of Leiria, a city strategically located about 120 km north of Lisbon and 180 south of Porto. Digidelta was one of the first companies in Portugal to work in the area of animal health systems (bovine, caprine, ovine), having been homologated by the Ministry of Agriculture to carry out the identification, traceability and health of animals in the country. Currently, we hold 100% of the Portuguese market, including the autonomous islands of Azores and Madeira. As the main reference in its field, Digidelta Software is committed to the development of reliable and innovative products in response to the requirements of Portuguese and international animal health authorities. Over the past two decades, Digidelta has developed a high level of expertise in the development of reliable information systems for government entities. Thus, Digidelta has developed a range of software and services in all areas for animal identification, to trace the animals or gather specific data on their lifestyles. As a result, we have been accepted as an associated member of ICAR (International Committee for Animal Recording).
