About Digital Building Services
After over 15 years in the reality capture industry working mainly at airports (over 50 since 2005) and other large complex facilities, Jose Mesa decided it was time to form Digital Building Services, LLC. Digital Building Services looks to continue and strengthen their relationships with the A/E/C community and provide existing condition documentation as a newly formed Minority Business Enterprise. DBS will provide laser scanning, Revit and CAD modeling, BIM Coordination services, as well as project photography and construction monitoring. It has always been a goal of his after working with less experienced firms to form a company and manage it to fulfill the unique needs of each individual client. Spearheading the business development of DBS will be his longtime colleague, Lance Olsen. Jose and Lance worked together in the aviation industry from 2005-2016 and built an impressive resume of complex BHS and aviation facility projects across North America. Also, they have scanned and modeled several hotels, schools, theme parks, and other projects where high detail and high accuracy are a must. DBS is headquartered in Miami, FL with a satellite office in Springfield, Missouri.
