About Digital Youth ICT Academy
The Academy was founded by a consortium of leading ICT companies spearheaded by T-Systems SA. It recently entered into a joint venture with Maharishi Institute and Afrika Tikkun. Founded in 2021, the Digital Youth ICT Academy was established as a Nonprofit. We aim to address the skills shortage and create a pool of employable graduates with ICT skills needed in the market. More than 3000 internationally certified ICT graduates have graduated from the Academy since its inception in 2003; a 95% pass rate and an employment rate of more than 85% in IT-related fields have been achieved.
