Direction Home Akron Canton, along with 11 other Area Agencies on Aging across the state of Ohio, was designated by the Older Americans Act which was designed to provide services to persons not adequately served by other public and private systems. Our focus is funding and advocacy surrounding programs and services that allow older adults and people with disabilities to remain independent and in the home of their choice. At Direction Home Akron Canton, we understand the importance of independence which is why we’ve made it our mission to ensure that you and your loved ones can stay happy, stay healthy and stay home.
