About Disability Housing Solutions

Disability Housing Solutions are a Profit-for-purpose Social enterprise working to provide and manage quality and purpose-built homes for people with disability. We are a registered and certified Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provider who have been working and championing people with disability since the inception of the NDIS in 2016. We partner with builders, developers, investors and Social Impact funds to create properties that are built for purpose, and enrich the lives of our tenants. As one of the prominent profit-for-purpose organisations operating in the SDA sector we bring the required expertise, knowledge and community presence to ensure we are building and acquiring the right product in the right location for the right people. We are unique as an SDA provider as we are able to bring our experience and community networks that have been deveoped since the launch of the NDIS to provide peace of mind and comfort for investors with the acquisition of tenants upon completion of the project, a critical element to the process. Of the many achievements we are happy to celebrate, we are proud to boast an occupancy rate of 98% across our portfolio (Dec 2020). We were the first in Australia to build a High-Physical Support (HPS) house in Canberra, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and have since built a considerable portfolio nationally.
