About Discover and Grow

Discover and Grow is a nonprofit that provides tailored solutions to schools in English, Spanish, and French, with a primary focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) workshops and implementation strategies. SEL is the process through which individuals develop self-awareness, manage emotions, build healthy relationships, and make responsible decisions—skills essential for success in school and life. Our mission is to empower school leaders, students, and families to thrive in their communities by fostering emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience. In addition to SEL, we offer a range of complementary programs designed to build healthy school climates and strong and collaborative communities. These include: • Bullying Prevention programs that foster inclusivity, empathy, and positive peer relationships. • Restorative Justice practices that promote accountability, healing, and community repair. • Project-Based Learning to deepen student engagement and collaboration through real-world problem-solving. • Media Literacy education to cultivate critical thinking and responsible digital citizenship. • Civic Engagement initiatives that encourage youth voice and active participation in democracy. • Circle of Security training for parents to strengthen secure attachment and supportive relationships at home. Together, these services support a holistic approach to student well-being and academic success, helping schools build environments where everyone can discover their potential and grow.
