Discovery Marine Safaris is one of the original whale watching companies operating out of Campbell River. Founded in 2006 our privately owned and operated tour company has built an envied global reputation for being “whale wise” and for offering ethical whale watching and wildlife tours that count towards education, research and conservation. Our values were shared with our former sister company "Stubbs Island Whale Watching" (Telegraph Cove) and both companies worked side by side to make every trip "count" by providing an educational component that has our guests leave with so much more than just amazing photos. "Discovery Marine Safaris' mission is to make our passion for all our local wildlife yours through our fun, educational, ethical, safe & professional tours." Our Goal: We want you to have a first-class experience with us that'll become the highlight of your vacation, and for every tour of ours to count towards education, research, and conservation so that we can do our part in protecting and building awareness about these magnificent creatures for generations to come. Our comfortable boat can accommodate groups of up to 30 passengers.
