About Discovery Summer
Discovery Summer offers short, intensive summer courses in the UK for international students aged 5-17 plus adults. Our students come to learn English as well as attending specialist summer schools: Global Young Leaders, Pre-University, Sports Academy, Coding & Tech Academy, Family London programme. Founded in 2002, we are a family-owned company with extensive experience in running high quality summer schools. Each summer we welcome juniors, teens and adults from approximately 50 countries worldwide. We have residential summer schools for 8-17-year-olds at Benenden School, Shrewsbury School and Winchester College. In London, we have a non-residential summer school for families at Collingham in Kensington. We are accredited by the British Council and were awarded 12 strengths in our 2023 inspection. Each centre brings together strong team-players who genuinely enjoy working with children and teenagers. At least 40% of staff return each year.
