Dispute Settlement Center, Inc. (DSC) is the original community mediation center in North Carolina. We’ve helped thousands of people to negotiate conflicts at home, work, neighborhoods, in congregations, or in organizations. We believe that with the support of trained neutrals, many interpersonal conflicts can be worked out and relationships maintained or even improved. When people in conflict come in good faith, focus on their futures, and are supported by mediators, meaningful and lasting resolutions are possible. With what we have learned as mediators, we have developed trainings that can enhance your or your organization’s ability to work through conflict and be successful. Our experience in group facilitation and mediation and process design helps organizations move forward with the confidence that appropriate parties have had been heard, and good decisions made. As a community nonprofit, we make our services available at reasonable rates and through sliding scale fee structures.
