About Distinct Homes (Malta & Gozo)
Distinct Homes Ltd. knows its origin in 1988. Then operating under A&Z Co. Ltd. as exclusive suppliers of the Forestals brand, the Victoria (Gozo) showroom was synonymous with high-quality household appliances and excellent after-sales services. Paul Zammit and Joe Attard, two business partners and lifetime friends, meant a personalised guaranteed service. Their strongest marketing ally remained word of mouth, for the company insisted on providing the very best in a homely atmosphere. The business grew and a new four-floor showroom was built, just across the road from where it all began. To date it remains the largest home-related showroom in Gozo. A new generation of directors, brothers Max and Andrew Zammit, meant a change in name and an expansion from only household appliances to home furniture of different price brackets. Today, Distinct Homes has carved a name for itself for its kitchens, bedrooms, floor tiles and bathrooms, sofas and living rooms, loose and garden furniture, most of which it directly imports to Malta. 2015 meant another important step in the company’s development. Distinct Homes Ltd. opened a new showroom in Mdina Road, Attard, with three floors of display area which increased to five in subsequent months. Max and Andrew and all their staff are keen to live the values which made their previous generation stand out – products and services for high quality living.
