About Ditch & Reservoir Company Alliance
Wayne N. Aspinall once said, "In, the West, when you touch water, you touch everything." Ditch and Reservoir Company Alliance's vision is to bring all entities involved to the table for events, discussion, and legislation. DARCA's role continues to inform stakeholders, to be an accessible source of information for information and advocacy for all water users. Involvement Membership and sponsorship extend across the State of Colorado and into several other surrounding states and it is comprised of agricultural municipal, environmental, industrial, technical, and legal members and sponsors to round out the involvement in DARCA. Our services include: + Accessible grant guides to pursue funding, where to go for potential partnering organizations, basin roundtables, etc. + Grant writing services through DARCA + Workshops tailored to the participants' needs + Automatic membership through the Colorado Water Congress, allowing for additional membership benefits and discounted attendance to CWC events + Newsletters detailing the legislation, DARCA, and CWC events, and exciting news with the opportunity to respond + Advocacy in legislation, education, and involvement in important topics and such as the Colorado 811 and PFAs + Comprehensive list of s[onsors containing professional experts, services, manufacturers, legal experts, engineering firms, etc for the use of members (not a recommendation list, but a list of those who sponsor DARCA and offer services that are particularly utilized by members) + Attendance at DARCA events (workshops and an annual convention) at the member rate for any board members, staff member, or stockholder + Full access to the "members-only" section of the DARCA website for board members, staff, or stockholders + Shareholders are DARCA members + Access to the DARCA Ditch Company Handbook + Ability to find and share information among DARCA members + Collaboration with other organizations for increased member benefit
