About DJ Ivory ENT

The success of DJ Ivory was no coincidence or luck. Born in Miami, Florida to a loving, supportive family, Ivory Lewis was given the freedom and space to start exploring the world of music. At the tender age of eight he admired the sounds of artists such as; Kirk Franklin, Mahalia Jackson, The Temptations, Jimmy Hendrix, Al Green and Muddy Waters. The musical influences awakened him. He was inspired to explore writing music and in high school he began to rap as well. He graduated Carol City Senior High and moved on to Florida International University to pursue a major in English and a minor in psychology. He continued to apply himself in creative areas that were of interest to him and was given the opportunity to DJ at his University’s first Black Student Union Fashion Show where the spotlight took its first glance at him. In 2013 he became an intern for 103.5, The Beat Radio Station. There he assisted with promotions until there was an open position for part-time work. Displaying grit, he decided to approach the program director at the time, DJ A-Oh, and presented him with a demo of his mixing. His courage and talent landed him a guest spot on air during the holidays. His determination, hard work, and perseverance has earned the likes of many, such as; DJ Bulletproof and DJ 33 1/3 who granted him a one-hour mix spot on Fridays nights. His work speaks volumes; as he continues to build his resume in the industry. He has close ties to the community, participating in city events to show leadership, remaining an excellent example to those that look up to his work ethic. Today DJ Ivory works in promotions at iHeart Media Miami, He’s a personality and DJ on Dash Hip Hop X on Dash Radio, and Strong Arm Radio (Voice of the Streets). He is now building his own entertainment company, DJ Ivory ENT; and podcast called #WhatThePStand4 branding his own name and making himself the grandmaster of his own destiny.
