Formed in 2015, DN-Micro is an innovative forward thinking technical services company situated at the foot of the Pennines, in the North West of England. DN-Micro can provide a wealth of knowledge and expertise within the fields of industrial microbiology & fluid chemistry, with this experience extending from the laboratory to solving real world biodeterioration problems on customer sites around the world. Metalworking Fluid Condition Testing Whilst microbiology still forms an important part of DN-Micro, we have now extended the range of testing services, offering routine testing for the maintenance of metalworking fluids. This is a natural diversification for DN-Micro given our background, with the main testing parameters including; Microbiology, pH, and fluid concentration analysis. The management or mismanagement of MWF can have both health & safety and economic consequences, and therefore this service is directed at engineering companies wishing to manage the safety, whilst prolonging the efficiency of their in-use fluids. In this area we also work alongside fluid suppliers to enable them to offer this service to their customer. Microbiology Services DN-Micro’s Microbiology hub specialises in all aspects of microbial detection and control, assisting those companies which are at risk from contamination throughout their production and storage processes, and also companies which supply products which may themselves become a contamination risk. This includes; water-based functional fluids (metalworking coolants, hydraulic fluids, heat treatment products, industrial cleaners & surface treatment products), process water, paint and paper production.
