DNA Detailing & BIM is a two part company that provides construction services and BIM education. We exclusively use Tekla Structures for all of our work, which is the premiere BIM software on the market. DNA's construction services include, but are not limited to: Rebar Detailing: providing detail-level concrete and rebar modeling, rebar placing drawings, barlists, support bars, rebar cage or mat prefabrication drawings. We provide these services on a variety of buildings, from hospitals to parking structures to multi-level housing. Tekla Structures Software Training: providing one-on-one or group instruction on the basics of Tekla Structures, intermediate and advanced training for rebar or light gauge modeling, drawing creation instruction, developing templates or barlists, custom component creation. Other services: Please contact us for more information on other BIM services, such as light gauge/cold formed steel detailing, model workflow consulting, and construction BIM sequencing. For those new to the 3D world of construction, BIM stands for Building Information Modeling, and it has become an important aspect of modern construction technology. DNA Detailing & BIM, LLC was founded by Daniella Castro and Alyssa Schorer. Both founders have a passion for BIM and for exposing the industry to the benefits of 3D modeling in Tekla Structures. We enjoy getting out on the construction site and learning about how we can help bridge the gap between engineers and contractors, including making the flow of 3D information more streamline. When not working both Daniella and Alyssa can be found traveling, enjoying tasty micro brews, and supporting their favorite local businesses.
