Founded in 2018, DocHQ is on a mission to make healthcare accessible for everyone, breaking down barriers to quality care through technology-driven solutions. These solutions are designed to reduce the burden on traditional healthcare systems, lower insurance claims, and deliver meaningful value to users such as speedier recovery times. For example, musculoskeletal (MSK) health is one of the biggest challenges - and opportunities - facing health insurers today. Almost one third of people in the UK have an MSK condition, driving high claims costs, work absenteeism and long recovery times. That’s why we’ve built DocHQ Physio, an AI-assisted physiotherapy platform designed to support users across the full MSK journey: from triage and rehabilitation through to fitness, prevention, and long-term wellbeing. DocHQ uses advanced computer-vision technology to help physios assess patient needs before delivering a choice of 2100 exercises and 600 pre-loaded workouts designed for over 80 of the most common conditions. This works using any home device with a camera (phone, laptop etc) and collects data from 111 body points, delivering real-time feedback that physios can monitor to track progress, fine-tune exercises and, ultimately, discharge patients. For employers and insurers, DocHQ is a powerful tool to proactively manage MSK risk at scale, reducing claims and supporting better health outcomes while delivering meaningful data on its usage and impact.
