Document The Abuse houses the Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit which helps victims of abuse to document the histories and experiences. AT NO COST TO THE VICTIM and with just a user name and a password you can start and access this web based app from any device to put all your information together in one place. This valuable and innovative resource was created from what went on in my family. I am the sister in law to missing Bolingbrook Il. mother, Stacy Peterson, (4th wife of Bolingbrook police officer Drew Peterson) who has been missing since Oct. 28, 2007. When Stacy went missing it started a journey I wouldn't wish on anyone, but in doing so this amazing resource was created which may change the outcome for other victims and anyone who has contact with them. This truly can be a game changer as it allows victims to all in one place assemble their stories, photos, copies of police reports, hospital reports, email correspondence, copies of texts, etc. anything that helps to corroborate, substantiate or validate what you the victim are stating . It helps with recollection of details, a digital diary if you will so when the information is needed it is available for you. In the event you are not here to speak on your own behalf, your words and video of those words will be there to speak for you. By filling out an Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit, and telling someone about the fact you did, or taking it to it's full potential by printing it out, getting it notarized and giving it to two trusted friends so should anything happen to you as it did Kathleen, someone will be able to bring it forth, or reach out to DTA.
