Founded by Mariana Carvalho and Gonzalo Basualdo in 2011, DolceQuela is a lifestyle brand based in London with a strong focus on beach & summer wear. Mariana is Portuguese with a background in the tourism and hospitality industry, while Gonzalo is a circus performer from Argentina/Italy. DolceQuela's brand reflects their life experiences and is influenced by their extensive travels in Asia, South America and Europe. Initially, they started the brand as a way to fund their voyages selling their clothes at the beaches in Ibiza, Sardinia, the Italian coast and Brazil during the summer months. As the years went by, loyal customer bases in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Brazil gave them the confidence to follow their dream fulltime. With a small but extremely dedicated team, DolceQuela is a growing family business and a success story with a bright future ahead. The DolceQuela brand concept is infused by the places Mariana and Gonzalo visited and the cultures they experienced first hand. The brand's collections are fuelled by constant research and refined sensitivity for beauty and originality. DolceQuela's creations possess great charm, casual comfort, and unpretentious glamour. Our clothes are designed for travellers, refined urban tribes or the boho-chic set at an affordable price range. DolceQuela's garments and accessories are produced in India in limited quantities with carefully selected high-quality fabrics and materials.
