About Dom Amsterdam

We started Dom Amsterdam with a very clear vision, everything has to be as sustainable as possible. For our production we exclusively use second hand fabrics. We gather all kinds of second hand materials and make trendy designs out of it. All of our production takes place locally in Amsterdam in cooperation with the talented refugees of Atelier Opnieuw. We have deliberately chosen a local producer to be as closely involved as possible in the production process and thereby minimize the adverse effects of transport. Atelier Opnieuw is owned by Mohamad and Abdul who fled Syria 5 years ago and are working hard here in Amsterdam to realise their dream. We can proudly say that we support them realising this and helping them wherever possible. All the fabrics that we can not use anymore we give to other projects that can use them so nothing goes to waste. We produce trendy fashion where all business processes are focused on sustainability.
