About Domstein

We are one of the largest suppliers of seafood to the Norwegian market, with an annual turnover of approx. NOK 700 million and daily distribution of fresh fish and seafood to 800 customers. The business includes sales and distribution of fresh seafood products to the grocery trade, catering, hotels and restaurants in Norway. We deliver fresh seafood with the main focus on wild-caught fish, white fish and shellfish from local fishermen and fish receptions. Via a large network of fishermen along the Norwegian coast, access to fresh seafood is ensured throughout the year. We have branches in Oslo, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim, Bodø and Tromsø. Based in Måløy, Domstein Fish trades in frozen fish products with the world as its market. Domstein is the leading distributor of bait to the longline fleet in Northern Europe. The products akkar and sauri are purchased from fishing grounds in the South Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean. In addition, Norwegian herring and mackerel are used. Domstein Fish has a freezer and dry warehouse at Raudeberg with a capacity of 7,000 tonnes. Among other things, sea-frozen products from the line fleet are landed here. We work closely with Ervik Havfiske, which operates 16 fishing boats. Domstein and Ervik were the first in the world with MSC certification of Atlantic cod and haddock.
