About Don Bosco International Media Academy
The DBIMA is a non-profit school founded by award-winning industry professionals and educators as a response to provide quality arts and media education. Courses are focused and in-depth, specially tailored to combine theoretical studies with practical hands-on instruction from day one. The courses are flexible and sensitive to the strengths and passions of the individual student, allowing each to find their calling and follow their career path appropriately. Media is a mix of art and technology, and the academy recognizes the importance of both in preparing students for the emerging media economy. Students are able to take several intensive courses that best match their particular goals, and professors with experience in project development are able to aid students in preparing portfolios for submission to major institutions. This makes DBIMA a good option for French students preparing for schools requiring the “Bac plus Deux”. The DBIMA also provides a fully equipped sound studio with state-of-the-art Universal Audio and Neve equipment. An editing facility with a fully equipped DaVinci Resolve system, Adobe applications, Panasonic and RED DSMC2 cameras with a professional green studio. This elite-level industry technology is unavailable in most schools, giving our students essential hands-on experience and an edge in helping them find future employment.
