Our staff at Donfabs & Consillia, are experienced rail industry, engineering, emergency services and defense sector professionals. Our equipment is in use worldwide. We provide a bespoke service, researching, developing, testing and supplying equipment to meet with customer requirements and specifications worldwide. This is backed up by a support and servicing network. From our facility in Shardlow, we design, manufacture and test our own equipment to the highest standards, always using the latest proven technology. Longevity and reliability are an important aspect of everything we develop. Our range of equipment includes: Track geometry, distance measuring, motorised rail trolleys, push trolleys, rail rescue trolleys, multi-functional trolleys, emergency services equipment, rail skates and ride comfort data gathering. Emergency Response Vehicles (ERV’s) designed and manufactured by emergency responders and staff at DCL were deployed following the tragic events of 7th July 2005. They were deployed in both the response and recovery phases. The 7/7 Review published: ‘The trolleys provided by the RART project for travelling along tube lines, worked extremely well at Russell Sq. Intended for single journeys, the trolleys were used to ferry staff and equipment for 39 consecutive hours, covering a distance of around 280 miles.’ The ERV has been superseded by a more versatile, technologically advanced and flexible platform, which can be tailored to meet the changing needs of emergency service and industry responders.
