About Doorway Into Light

We offer burial and ocean body burial services, pre- and post-cremation support and counseling, grief support, and education to individuals and families here in Maui County. Doorway Into Light’s vision is: *To empower communities in the care of the dying and the dead by teaching the skills and understandings for compassionate, hands and hearts-on care. Our nonprofit funeral home serves individuals and families as a vital educational resource for after death care. *To provide free and low-cost care and services to the dying and their families who are financially challenged. Doorway Into Light is dedicated to fostering cultural sensitivity, diversity and equity and promoting regenerative practices by offering eco-friendly, low-cost options to the community. We are building a fund to provide: Free and Low-Cost Funeral, Burial, Ocean Body Burial and Cremation services to Maui's homeless, indigent and low-income populations.
