About Doorwerkgever
Anyone who wants and can work should be able to work. Even when they are already retired. That’s why we make it possible to work after retirement! It is our mission to make it possible to work for those who are retired and still want and can work. Based on the belief that if we don’t continue to share our knowledge we’re constantly trying to resolve the same problem. We think that keep working is the way of sharing knowledge, give an opportunity to have a meaning in life and to generate revenue. Who we are For over 10 years we are Doorwerkgever. We believe in people. Think outside the box and we are the inventors of the DoorwerkCAO and the Doorwerkregeling. In 2008 we developed the DoorwerkCAO because there was nothing arranged for working after retirement in the Netherlands. In 2016 our DoorwerkCAO became law! A huge accomplishment for working after retirement. But we think it still isn’t as flexible as it should be for companies and pensioners. That’s why we developed our own regulation, the Doorwerkregeling, which makes it possible for pensioners to have the flexibility of a self-employed with the benefits of an employee. In the last 10 years we’ve helped over 18.000 people to work. We have a database of 18.000 enthusiastic pensioners. The vital and energetic people live through the Netherlands and want and can work. On a flexible and nice job or at the same company they’re already work. What we believe We believe that anyone who can and wants to work should be able to work. Even when they are already retired. There are almost 3,4 million pensioners in the Netherlands. Hereof, 1 to 7 wants to keep working. According to CBS there are already 180.000 of them working. 18% of them is over the age of 75 and 2% is over 80 years. Which means there are more than 310.000 pensioners who want and can work. Why? Because they want to have a meaning to their lives and extra income is always welcome.
