Dorman Long Engineering (DLE) is a pre-eminent indigenous steel fabrication company with general Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) capabilities providing a wide range of engineering based services and products to clients in Nigeria and the Sub-Saharan African market countries in the Gulf of Guinea. Our strong pedigree and our diversified business operations make us unique and ideal long-term partners to our key stakeholders. Our company was established in 1949 and has contributed to Nigeria’s industrial and infrastructural development. Historic landmark projects executed include the Niger Bridge at Asaba/Onitsha, work for the railways and structural steel works for most Industrial buildings in Ikeja and Trans-Amadi Industrial Estates constructed from the 1950s to early 1970s. We provide a complete service from Design Engineering through Procurement, to Manufacture & Fabrication, Installation & Construction and Asset Management, predominantly for the onshore and offshore Oil and Gas Industry, Construction, Power and Telecommunication Industries. Dorman Long Engineering Limited is proud to be the first in Nigeria to achieve ASME U, U2, S, PP, R & NB stamp standard. This is evidence that our products are manufactured to global standards quality. Our Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001: 2015 standard. DLE has the largest hot-dip galvanising plant in Africa - 90,000mt per annum (bath size 14m X 2.5m X 1.5m) and the furnace at the plant has a capacity of 4 X 195,000 Btu/hr dual fuel burners that conforms to Quality Standards - BS EN ISO 1461:1999 & ASTM A 123. Dorman Long Engineering products conform to Standards Organisation of Nigeria Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (SON-MANCAP).
