About Douglas Property Valuations
Our mission is to provide valuations that are credible and well-motivated so as to exceed the expectation of our clients and that of the industry, thereby preserving a long-term relationship with our clients. Our valuations will reflect the client’s needs through the above-average diligence taken in our work. Today we are on the Board of Valuers for some of South Africa's top banks, including Nedbank, ABSA, Investec and SA Home Loans. We continue to attract, employ and develop our employees to provide only the highest quality within the industry. HISTORY We opened our doors to business in May 1997 and have, over the past 21 years, built up an excellent reputation amongst our corporate and private clients for producing work and service of the highest quality. We quickly set new standards in the valuation of residential properties and were one of the earliest users in the industry of digital photography, which we have always incorporated extensively in our reports as the most effective means of illustrating and recording property details. We have built up a substantial database of property facts to equip ourselves for residential, commercial and industrial valuations, and subscribe to the various recognised publications and databases as well as some lesser-known sources.
