What We Do DESIGN We design magazines, books, branding products, identity, and packaging. ART DIRECTION We conceptualize & produce visual communication solutions. ONGOING ART DIRECTION & DESIGN We produce entire publications on an ongoing basis. We become your art department. EDITORIAL DEVELOPMENT We assist with story concepts/structure, heds/deks, & coverlines. PHOTO DIRECTION & SHOOT PRODUCTION We art direct & produce shoots both locally & remotely. PRINT PRODUCTION We do color correction, retouching, & press checks. Who We Are DOUGLAS+VOSS collaborates with you on both the design and editorial elements of a publishing project to achieve results that exceed expectations. In short, we do a lot with a little. And we’ve been doing it since 1988. Have we won awards? Sure. But what keeps us happy are the rewards of doing dynamic, beautiful work that will win you accolades. KAY DOUGLAS Kay has art directed, designed, redesigned, or launched more than 40 publications. These include national titles, custom magazines, bookazines, and SIPs. In addition to being a talented designer, she has a deep understanding of the art of telling a story on the page. She has a BFA from Purdue. TOM VOSS Tom is a writer, editor, and designer. In addition to having worked with Kay on all but two projects, he has published eight nonfiction books—five on decorative arts. He’s a graduate of Northwestern in English and art, with postgrad work at Johns Hopkins and Brown.
