About DOULA CO-OP of Nevada
At the DOULA CO-OP of Nevada, we believe in collaborative community building to provide essential resources, services, and programs for birth and death care, as well as care workers across the state. As Nevada’s leading organization for Doula workforce development, we are dedicated to expanding equitable access to Doula services for underserved communities through support, education, and advocacy. We offer comprehensive Birth Doula training, scholarships, and continuing education opportunities for aspiring, new, and established Doulas and other community practitioners and advocates. Our statewide membership, now 55 strong and growing, represents a vibrant and diverse network of Doulas working across the spectrum of life who are committed to improving care outcomes in their communities. Pioneering initiatives like Nevada’s first hospital-based Doula program, leading legislative advocacy for Doulas working with Medicaid, and piloting Maternal Health research are all at the heart of our mission to strengthen and sustain the Doula workforce. Join us in shaping a more equitable future for Doula care in Nevada!
