Originally chartered to serve the employees of The Dow Chemical Co. on the west coast in 1938 our field of membership now extends to all of East Contra Costa County. Your local credit union can now serve “Any and all persons who live, regularly work, currently attend school, volunteer or regularly worship, as well as any businesses, corporations or other legal entities in the following incorporated and unincorporated cities and towns: Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, Pittsburg, Bay Point, Bethel Island, Discovery Bay and Knightsen.” Family members of existing members are also encouraged to join Dow Great Western Credit Union.
