Downriver Community Federal Credit Union is a member-owned organization dedicated to providing personable quality service while offering a full range of benefits designed to meet your financial needs. The Credit Union was founded in 1942, we are owned and controlled by over 15,000 members, and we have assets exceeding $150 million. While we explore technological opportunities to provide our membership with quality services, we also believe in the importance of a professional and friendly staff as the key to providing complete satisfaction to our members. Downriver Community Federal Credit Union serves anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in the communities of Allen Park, Brownstown Township, Ecorse, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Huron Township (including New Boston, Waltz, Willow), Lincoln Park, Melvindale, River Rouge, Riverview, Rockwood, Romulus, Southgate, Taylor, Trenton, Woodhaven and Wyandotte. Also eligible to join are family members of eligible members. Businesses or other legal entities located in these communities can maintain accounts at the credit union, as well. Members must open a prime share account with a minimum deposit of $5.00, which serves as the basic membership account. Once a prime share account is opened, the member may enjoy all of the Credit Union´s services.
