About Downtown Aurora Visual Arts

Every kid deserves a safe, creative space to thrive. Downtown Aurora Visual Arts (DAVA) is a non-profit community art center that has been an anchor for youth in northwest Aurora for 29 years. Each year, hundreds of kids ages 3 to 18 join DAVA’s unique after-school and summer programs that are designed to develop art, social, and life skills. Every class at DAVA is free, and we welcome diverse students of all backgrounds and abilities. Our young artists explore everything from painting and ceramics, to and graphic design and filmmaking – all while learning to imagine new possibilities and bring their visions to life.
