About Downtown Boise

Downtown Boise encompasses two organizations: Downtown Boise Association (DBA) is a non-profit 501(c)6 Corporation that manages the Downtown Boise Business Improvement District (BID) on behalf of the City of Boise. The Downtown Boise BID exists to keep the regional economy healthy by ensuring that the area remains a driver of the economy and a successful place to do business. DBA's Vision is that Downtown Boise is a place to explore. Find a new adventure, spark creativity, make connections, and be a part of Boise’s vibrant culture where all are welcome. Downtown Boise Foundation (DBF) Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the vision of building community and celebrating culture in Downtown Boise. The organization facilitates multiple free programs and events annually that benefit the Treasure Valley community. DBA manages the Downtown Maintenance Team which keeps downtown clean seven days a week. DBA also runs multiple programs which in 2021 resulted in the planting of 534 flower pots, 824 banners placed on historic light poles, 21 holiday swag lights and thousands of holiday lights hung along with 45 wreaths, over $400,000 in downtown gift cards sold, and 25,000 downtown map and directories printed and distributed. Downtown Boise organizes downtown events such as First Thursday, Alive After 5, Father's Day Car Show, Taste of Downtown, and the Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration.
