About Downtown SF Partnership

Downtown SF Partnership is the newest Community Benefit District in San Francisco and was formed in January 2020. Developed by a coalition of property and business owners, the District includes two of the oldest continuous business districts in the City (Financial District and Jackson Square) and funds special benefit services over and above what the City already provides including cleaning and safety services, mobility management, public realm improvements and beautification, and marketing. OUR MISSION We lead the way in building a thriving downtown where business gets done, people feel welcome, come to explore, and make memories. We’re a nonprofit community benefit district working to enhance the downtown core, the traditional Financial District and historic Jackson Square through public/private partnerships, placemaking, activating the public realm, clean and safe operations, marketing support and more. OUR VISION Downtown San Francisco is an economic powerhouse and historic core, redefining what makes our city vibrant, resilient, and welcoming.
