Dr. Sours is a small business originally founded in 2015 in Mexico City (Mexico) by Manuel Weißkopf and Sol Sours, focusing on the development, production, and distribution of the world's first Mexican Cocktail Bitters. Having successfully made several business contacts in Mexico and Germany in 2015 and 2016, further expansion started in summer 2016 by founding the Dr. Sours GmbH in Germany. Aside from its collection of presently 16 all-natural Cocktail Bitters, Dr. Sours meanwhile also offers finest Mexican Mezcal under its own, registered trademark "MZCL". Eventually, Starting in 2020, Dr. Sours has now also teamed up with several Mexican brands like "Mezcal Local" from Oaxaca, Siglo Cero POX and Sotol Sotomayor, helping them build up a distribution network in Europe.
