Drake Enterprises, Inc., located in Clinton Township, Michigan, has been in business since 1952 and continues to strive in the competitive manufacturing environment. Beginning as a small 4 man operation, the dreams and goals of the owners lead them to having over 100 employees and a 70,000 square foot facility with a vast variety of manufacturing equipment. With our versatile manufacturing and assembling capabilities, we are able to use our innovative expertise to meet the most demanding customer requirements. Our customers include many major OEM companies in the heavy truck, agriculture and automotive markets. One of our specialty products is the manufacturing and assembling of gear shift levers and transmission components for the Class 8 medium duty truck market. We have dedicated work cells for this unique commodity which starts from raw materials and continues through extrusion, welding, painting and finishes with a complete assembled product. We also have the capability to design and make our own tools, fixtures and special gages. This allows Drake to meet any customer specific job requirement. It also allows us to stay competitive on price quotes by passing the savings on to our customers.
