About drawing escapes
Drawing Escapes was born in Andalucia in Southern Spain 12 years ago with the idea that you have a relaxing holiday and come back with lots of drawing, fresh ideas and a sun-tan! Since then we've added Gdansk in Poland, Thailand and Bali to our portfolio. The trips are geared towards both students and professionals. They are well suited to those who have experience and confidence in drawing who want to push it further, but also to those who find drawing a challenge and lack confidence. The trips are for small groups usually 4 or 5 for Spain, and a maximum of 10 for the city trips and long haul destinations. We have organised drawing days in different locations as well as workshops on different aspects of drawing, when appropriate. When the groups are of more than eight guests you will have 2 tutors so that everyone gets plenty of support. We have structured but informal crits when we talk about drawing, idea development and related issues. The content and what form the drawing takes will come from your particular personal interests. You will get individual support with all aspects of your drawing practice, design and concept development.
