About Dream Center Academy Christian School

The Dream Center Academy is a private Christian School and a One-Stop-Shop, Home-Away-from-Home Empowerment Zone that will provide programming and services geared toward holistically impacting and affecting the lives of youth, young adults and families that enter into its doors. Although we are located within the Chickasaw Neighborhood we are not at all exclusive to that community, in fact with our New Day Ministries Safe Transportation Portal we will bring youth from the other 8 neighborhoods and Newburg to our facility so that our trained staff, teachers, and volunteers can change the trajectory of their lives. With there being so many gangs in the nine West End communities and parents being fearful of their child being a victim of collateral damage: caught up in the crossfire this is why the New Day Ministries Safe Transportation Portal is vital to keeping our kids safe and ensuring that on our watch they’ll have the opportunity to thrive in life and succeed. The Dream Center Academy mission is all about Breathing L.I.F.E. (Love Inspiring Future Excellence ™) into the lives of youth and young adults who are Our Leaders of Tomorrow! We use a 4-L Approach (Listen to Learn to Love to Lead) which was given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit to Tod Moore while he was in prison. In this 4-L Approach when you Listen to someone as the Lord would have you to (intently) you can Learn the person as they share intimate and personal things about themselves, then as you truly Learn them you’ll know how to Love them the way that Christ would have you to and then when you begin to Love them that way 9 times out of 10 they’ll allow you to Lead them. “People don’t care what you know until they first know that you care.”
